Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
In plain terms: everything we sell must be of acceptable quality, fit for its purpose and match its description. If there's a major problem with something you've bought, you choose the remedy — refund, replacement or repair. If the problem is minor, we'll put it right, and we may choose whether that's a repair, replacement or refund. Nothing on this page limits those rights.
Faulty or incorrect items
If something arrives damaged, faulty, or isn't what you ordered:
- Email hello@tidbit.com.au with your order number and a photo or two of the problem.
- We'll reply within 2 business days with the next steps.
- If the item needs to come back to us, we cover the return postage — returning a faulty item never costs you anything.
- Your remedy (refund, replacement or repair) follows the Australian Consumer Law, as set out above.
Change of mind
We don't offer change-of-mind returns. We're a small store — every product is carefully selected before it's listed, and we ask you to choose carefully. If you're not sure about a size, a colour, or whether your dog will love it, email hello@tidbit.com.au before you order and we'll help you decide.
This doesn't affect your rights when something is actually wrong: if an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, the Australian Consumer Law remedies above apply in full and we'll sort it out quickly.

How to start a return
Please don't post anything back before contacting us. Email hello@tidbit.com.au with your order number, and we'll confirm the return process and the correct return address. This makes sure your return reaches the right place and can be processed quickly.
Refunds
Refunds go back to your original payment method. We process refunds promptly once approved. Your bank or PayPal may then take a few business days to show the refund in your account.
